"...God our Savior... wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." 1 Timothy 2:3-4 NLT God's wants everyone to be in His family. Everyone. You may have loved ones that look as if they will never come to the Lord. The apostle Paul was responsible for many Christians being killed prior to His conversion to Christ yet God saved Him and forgave Him. No one is too far gone. Of course, everyone has a free will and each person must choose to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior for themselves. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world--Satan--has blinded the minds of those who don't believe so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ won't reach them. When the light of the gospel shines in a person's heart they will see the truth. And the truth is what will make them free. But Jesus said: "Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy," Luke 10:19 NLT When you pray for your loved ones you don't need to pray for God to "save them" for God already did everything He can do to provide for their salvation. But take authority over demonic influence in their lives that would blind their minds and keep truth from their hearts. You can also pray for God to send laborers across their path, (Matthew 9:38) so the message of Jesus Christ reaches their heart. This message is what they need to put their faith in. You can try and tell them that they need to believe but they will need to see it for themselves. Don't lose hope though, their salvation is only a prayer away! God Bless you and have a better day!
