When you feel like you've lost it spiritually then you need to get your feet back on solid ground.  The only solid ground is the Word of God and His Word tells us that God has made a covenant with mankind through Jesus Christ.  We enter into this covenant by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord.  By believing that God raised Jesus from the dead you are acknowledging that the price for your sin was paid for in full when Jesus died.  As you confess Him as Lord of your life you are changed inside.  The old, dead spiritual nature is gone and you are born-again and have the new life and nature of God imparted to you.

"...anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"  2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT

The first step to coming out of spiritual bankruptcy is to believe in Jesus Christ and to confess Him as Lord.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."  Romans 10:9-10 NLT

Sometimes,  however, even after doing that we fail.  We fall into sin and this takes its toll on us spiritually.  Thank God that He knew this would happen and He made provision for it in His new covenant with us.

"But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness."  1 John 1:9 NLT

When you are born again you are brought into righteousness or right-standing with God and if you sin you can confess it to the Lord.  He will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.  That means that your righteousness or your right-standing with Him is restored!  This has nothing to do with how you feel.  You may not feel like you're righteous but God's Word is more true than your feelings!  Your feelings are up and down but God's Word never changes.  You can thank the Lord for what He's done for you whether you feel like it or not!

Jesus died to deliver you from spiritual death and the kingdom of darkness and to make you a partaker with Him in His Kingdom.

"May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.  For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins." Colossians 1:11-14 NLT

Put your faith in what Jesus has done for you.  Believe that the Word of God is true and if He says you are born again when you believe in Jesus then you are!  If He says you are a partaker with Him of His inheritance then you are.  If He says He will forgive you then He will!

It's also true that you may feel like you've come to a standstill spiritually when actually you are still growing and He's not as far off as it seems.  During the difficult times is when you grow the most and He is always right there for you.  You may be doing better than you think.  Just draw close to Him.

We read in Ephesians 2:6 that we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  You may be here physically on the earth now but Jesus Christ has brought you to a place in Him where you are seated in heavenly places.  He has given you the authority to use His Name in the earth, (Mark 16:17), and you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 1:3). Begin to acknowledge all that Jesus Christ has done for you--not what you feel like He's done but what He says He has done.  As you admit to what He's done for you your feelings will come along and you will kick start your spiritual growth again!
