Anger
Ephesians 4:26-27

26:Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27: Neither give place to the devil.

At times everyone gets angry.  It’s something we have to deal with and not let it become a stronghold for the enemy in our lives.  He says not to hold on to anger until the end of the day.  If we don’t deal with the situation that made us angry right away then we’ll begin to hold a grudge and resentment and bitterness will develop.  When that happens we’re giving a place and opportunity for the devil into our lives and the situation.

He says not to give place to the devil so this means we have a choice not to.  We may think, "well I can’t help it, this is how I feel, I can’t change it."  But you can.  That’s the enemy lying to you telling you you can’t change how you feel.  You may not feel like forgiving a person.   You may not want to in the natural but you can do it anyway.  It’s a choice.  And after you make the choice to handle the situation according to how the Word of God says to handle it then the feelings will follow along later on.

Confession:

I will not hold grudges.  I will be quick to forgive.  I give the devil no place in my life.  I will deal with those things that make me angry right away and do not hold on to it.

Obedience is a tree of life!
