April 26 28: Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. This is how God works in a person’s life. He’ll take a person who was a thief and turns his life around so not only does he work and make an honest living but he will also give to those who are in need.Stealing is really a very selfish act. It’s thinking you and your needs are more important than the needs of the person you are stealing from. It’s really selfishness. So for God to say to those who used to steal to not only work for your own needs but to take it one step further and give to those who are in need shows what He can do with a person’s life. It shows how a touch from Him can take our lives and turn them into something beautiful. It shows how He can take our weaknesses and truly make them strengths. He can do that. It shows how powerful the blood of Jesus really is in cleansing sin. Where there was death He brings life.
Confession: Thank You Father God for Your work in my life. Thank You for taking my weaknesses and making them strengths. Thank You for the blood of Jesus which truly cleanses me from all sin and unrighteousness.
Obedience is a tree of life!
