December 28 3 John 14
This is actually John’s parting statement and may seem insignificant. But it shows how he felt about everyone being greeted by name. It shows how he felt about including everyone personally. God is a very personal God. He deals with people individually. He does deal with groups corporately as well but when it comes down to your salvation, your relationship with Him and the call on your life, He deals with each one individually. Your family and friends or Pastor and church leader cannot take the place of the relationship God wants to have with you individually. Just as He cares for each one of us personally and individually we should follow His example and care for each other individually as well.
Confession: I realize God is a personal God and wants our relationship together to continue to become more personal. I will pursue that and I will develop individual relationships with my brothers and sisters in Christ as well.
Obedience is a tree of life!
