30: Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; Paul’s asking for them to strive together with him in prayer to God. He realizes that their prayers for him accomplish something. He realizes that as they strive together they can accomplish what God wants accomplished. Paul realizes he’s not out there doing his own thing. He knows he needs the support of the body of Christ in order to help him fulfill God’s call. No matter what your situation is, look to the overall picture of God’s plan and don't just pray for yourself and your corner of the world. We all need to see the whole picture of the whole body and strive in prayer together.
Confession: God help me to see the whole picture of Your plan for the body of Christ and not just focus on myself and my needs.
Obedience is a tree of life!
