10: According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Be careful how you build on the foundation that has been laid in your life. The next verse after this one says that Jesus Christ is that foundation. And it goes on to say that whatever is built upon that foundation will be tried with fire and revealed for what it really is. You can build that which will last and have eternal consequences for good or that which will be burnt up. So pay attention to what you are building in your life. What is your life becoming? What are your efforts producing? You want to build that which will have lasting results for good.
Confession: I will build upon the foundation of Jesus Christ with those stones which will last eternally for good. I will build with those things that are purified by fire rather than consumed by fire.
Obedience is a tree of life!
