God’s Secret Purposes
1 Corinthians 4:1

1: So then, let us [apostles] be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards (trustees) of the mysteries (the secret purposes) of God.  The Amplified Bible

The apostles are to be considered ministers or servants of Christ.  As those who were trustees of the mysteries & purposes of God.

They were entrusted with God’s secret purposes which is what they taught and preached.  The Bible was given to you by those who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to teach these mysteries or  purposes of God.  The insight and understanding that the apostles (and other men & women of God) had was recorded in written form.  The Bible is a compilation of that.

As you read and study the Bible, you can learn of God’s secret purposes for you.   They may be secret now but when God reveals them to you they are no longer a secret to you!

Confession:

I will look at the apostles to be servants of Christ.  I will consider them to be trustees of the mysteries of God.  As I read the Bible which was written by those servants of Christ, I will expect to discover God’s mysteries for me.

Obedience is a tree of life!
