5: So do not make any hasty or premature judgements before the time when the Lord comes again, for He will both bring to light the secret things that are now hidden in darkness, and disclose and expose the secret aims, motives and purposes, of hearts. Then every man will receive his due commendation from God. (Amplified Bible) God is the only truly accurate judge of people’s hearts. And in the end He will bring to light the things that are not apparent now. He will expose the secret motives of people’s hearts. And He will judge everyone accordingly. For you to judge before the time or to make a premature judgment now before it is all said and done may do more harm than good. In the end, God will judge according to His judgment. But right now He is extending a period of grace and mercy. You may be able to see where you think a person is "wrong" but the Lord's directive to you now is to love. Can you love a person even after you see their faults? This was Jesus' example to you and you will be carrying on that example if you can continue in His love rather than making a premature judgment.
Confession: I will not judge prematurely. God is the One who judges righteously.
