Concern for your brother
1 Corinthians 8:9-10

9: But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10: For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

Let’s say you go to a place to eat because they have good food.  But that place happens to be a bar.  You go there and you don’t participate in the drunkenness or immoral behavior that may be going on there but you eat there because of the good food.  Now let’s say a new believer sees you go into this bar and somehow gets the idea that you believe it’s O.K. to participate in the ungodly behavior associated with the place.

That may be a stumbling block to him.  You may feel the Lord has given you liberty to go there but if your brother sees that as a consent to sin then you need to see to it that your liberty is not a stumbling block for anyone.

Confession:

I will consider my brothers and sisters when I do those things which I feel Christ has given me liberty to do.

Obedience is a tree of life!
