No Stumbling Blocks
Romans 14:13,16

13: Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
16: Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

Rather than judging another person's opinion and trying to get them to believe exactly like you do,  he says instead to give your attention to making sure you are not putting a stumbling block in your brother or sister’s path.

Don't let something good in your life be looked on as something evil.  If someone doesn’t understand an area of freedom that the Lord has given you in your life, then don’t flaunt that in front of them.  That might become a stumbling block to them.  However, you might think that someone is not as far along in their walk with the Lord as you are.  But the more you mature spiritually, you just might find out that they were further down the path then you!  But remember that it's not about comparing yourself to others, it's about drawing close to the Lord and helping others to do the same.

Love does not boast in itself. It doesn’t flaunt itself.  It looks to prefer your brothers and sisters above yourself.

Confession:

I will not try to change people.  I will not flaunt my freedom in Christ.  I will not put stumbling blocks in my brother or sister’s path.  Rather I will draw close to the Lord and help others do the same.

Obedience is a tree of life!
