Personal Faith
Romans14:22

22: Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

As one who believes in Jesus, whatever you feel is right in your heart is what is right for you.  The Word of God, the Bible, will guide you and help you to get in touch with the faith in your heart.  It will come alive in your heart as your faith in the Lord grows.  Faith is of the heart.   It’s a revelation of the truth of God’s Word for your life.  But your faith is not something you can try and force on others.  It's between you and God.

If a person does what you do just because you say to do it then he’s not acting in true faith and you have caused him to sin.  His faith is not in God but in you.  He needs to obey the Word of God out of obedience to God, not because you say so.

The revelation must come to him that this is the truth and for that reason he does it.   Not because you say so.  Don’t try and force anyone to do anything that they don’t have in their heart to do.  You can discuss the Word of God with someone, but ultimately their faith is a personal conviction of the Word living in their heart.

Confession:

I will do that which I feel God wants me to do and allows me to do.  I will not force my beliefs on anyone.  I will encourage people to obey God and follow their heart, not me.

Obedience is a tree of life!
