Receive One Another
Romans15:7

 

7: Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.


How did Christ receive us?  Just as we were–as sinners.  He received us as those who couldn’t please God on our own.  As those who were full of faults whether we realized we had faults or not.

In the same way, we are to receive one another.  Accept each other as we are.   It’s all for the glory of God.  That doesn’t mean to condone and accept blatant sin, but to realize that Jesus didn’t separate Himself from us even when we were in sin.  Instead He showed us the way.

 

Confession:

I will receive others as Christ received me.  I will be to others as Christ was to me.  As He received me and showed me the way to the Father, I will do the same for others.

Obedience is a tree of life!
