14: Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. A worldly, ungodly attitude is to get even. To take revenge on those who are mean to you. But God’s way is that when people persecute you and are (as the Amplified Bible says), ‘cruel in their attitude toward you’, that you bless them rather than curse them.Remember, God’s way is different from how you may feel like reacting. This verse is talking about your reactions towards those that are not nice to you. If someone has an attitude towards you, don’t get an attitude back!
Confession: I will bless those that persecute me and are cruel to me. I will not curse them seek revenge.
Obedience is a tree of life!
