15: Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. The heart of God is that He understands how you feel and what you are going through. Your High Priest (Jesus), knows exactly how you feel (Hebrews 4:15). Whether you are rejoicing or weeping He knows and understands, (His idea of how to get through a situation may be different than what you are used to doing but He does know how you feel and where you’re coming from).He wants His people to have this same trait. To rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep. To be with others and be supportive when they’re going through a difficult time. Someone once said, ‘joy shared is doubled but grief shared is divided’. This doesn’t mean you let the grief of others bring you down, but you share in what they are going through to help them through.
Confession: I will stand by and support others by showing the compassion, love and empathy of God. Whether they are going through good times or bad.
Obedience is a tree of life!
