9: For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The Ten Commandments are summed up in this one commandment–love your neighbor as yourself. But to do this you must first have the love and compassion of God in your life. As you understand His great love for you and receive that love, then you can love others as yourself. If you don’t receive His love for you first then it does no good to try and love others like yourself because you don’t love yourself with the God-kind of love.You must receive God's love, forgiveness, grace and mercy for yourself first and then you can do what this verse says. And when you do, you will be keeping all of His commandments.
Confession: I receive God’s love for me. I receive His grace, mercy and forgiveness. Father, give me a revelation of Your love. I will love others as myself.
Obedience is a tree of life!
