Dont boast against the branches. Paul is talking to them about not thinking they were better then the Jews, who were the original "branches" in the tree. Meaning they were Gods people when Jesus came. God by His grace and mercy extended His salvation to everyone. Many of the Jewish people did not accept Him as Messiah and apparently some Gentiles who had accepted Jesus were putting down the Jewish people who wouldnt accept Jesus. Paul is warning against that kind of attitude here. Salvation is now by faith, not by ancestry. But God still desires for everyone-Jew and Gentile- to be grafted into His tree and enjoy relationship with Him. He doesnt exclude anyone and we shouldnt either.
Confession: I thank God for my salvation. God freely offers it to whoever will believe. He doesnt exclude anyone and I wont either.
Obedience is a tree of life!
