Think Soberly
Romans 12:3

  1. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

The Amplified Bible says not to have an exaggerated opinion of your own importance.  God has given to every one of us the measure of faith.  All of us have been given whatever it takes to accomplish His will.  You've been given the faith you need to live how you need to live.  You've been uniquely equipped with whatever tools you need to do your part in bringing the Kingdom of God to the earth.  You have a special part to play in God's plan, but in this verse here, he emphasizes that you don't need to think that you're better than anyone else because of it.

If you are gifted in one area, someone else is gifted in another area.  We each have our place in the body and no one is any better than anyone else.  The important thing is to not compare yourself with others but to look to Jesus--the Head of the body--and let Him show you your place.  Then you use the faith, grace and giftings He has given you to function in that position in the best possible way.

Confession:

God has equipped me with the measure of faith.  I have all that I need to fulfill His plan for me.  I am not any better or any less than anyone else.  I will think of myself as God thinks I ought to.

Obedience is a tree of life!
