Don’t Be Weary
2 Thessalonians 3:13

13: But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

After his comments about those who were not working but should be been, Paul says not to be weary in well doing.  At times it may be discouraging if it looks like our efforts are not accomplishing anything.  Especially if we see others who look like they’re not doing what’s right and yet things are going well for them.  We don’t want to see evil or harm come upon anyone but we need to be careful we don’t allow discouragement to come in when it looks like our own hard work is not paying off.

When you plant a seed in the ground it grows for a long time before you see anything.  But don’t give up just because you don’t see anything.  Keep nurturing it and it will grow.  Even if it doesn’t blossom into as big a plant as you’d like to see this season, keep nurturing it and next season it will be bigger.

Don’t be discouraged.  Your efforts are accomplishing something!

Confession:

I will not be weary in well doing.  I will not give up or become discouraged.  I will not be envious or bitter towards anyone.  My trust is in the Lord and I will continue in my walk with Him!

Obedience is a tree of life!
