Rejoice Evermore
1 Thessalonians 5:16

We’re told often to rejoice.  Joy is a fruit of the Spirit.  And we need to let that joy develop in us just as we do the other fruits of love, patience, faith etc.  To be joyful in all situations takes a yielding to the Spirit of God within and a renewing of your mind.

There are times to be serious.  If someone comes to you with a problem you don’t want to appear to be taking their situation lightly because the Bible also says to weep with those who weep.  But there is a spirit of joy you can bring into a situation which comes from a confidence and assurance that God will be able to take care of the situation as we trust in Him.  It’s good to know that no problem we are ever faced with is too big or too complicated for God to handle!

As we truly trust Him we will be able to rejoice evermore!

I will allow joy to grow and develop in my life.  I realize God is greater than any situation presented to me.  I trust in Him and I can rejoice evermore because He takes care of me!
