Let Peace Rule
Colossians 3:15

We were called to live in peace with one another.  Peace and love work together as do all the fruits of the Spirit.  God doesn’t want us to pretend to walk in love outwardly while frustration and anger is raging within us.  As we allow His peace to rule in our hearts then we are not only outwardly behaving as we should but we are at peace and content with allowing the love of God to motivate us.

The Amplified Bible says to allow the peace from Christ to "act as umpire continually" in your hearts.  When situations arise, allow His peace to rule.  Allow the peace of God to decide to react God’s way and to allow God to have His way.

We are called to function as one body and by allowing His peace to rule in our hearts we can do that with an attitude of thankfulness to God.

I will let the peace of God rule in my heart.  I will not hang on to anything that would hinder godly attitudes of peace, harmony and thankfulness from ruling in my life.
