If a person receives a gift of tongues for the whole church, then that person should pray for the interpretation of that tongue.  He says to let him that speaks in an unknown tongue pray for the interpretation.  Since He says not to just speak out in tongues in a church assembly without the interpretation then it makes sense that God is going to give the interpretation right?

It may be that the person who gave the tongue has the interpretation and at other times it may be someone else who has the interpretation.  But in any case, the tongue without the interpretation will not edify the church.

Confession:

If I feel that the Lord wants to use me to speak out in tongues during a church gathering then I will pray for the interpretation of that tongue so the body of Christ can be edified.
