A Likeminded Body
Philippians 2:2

 

  1. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

I believe not only would Paul take great joy in the church at Philippi being likeminded and loving but God does as well.  Paul is writing this letter to them as inspired by the Holy Spirit.  The church is the body of Christ and should be functioning together to accomplish the same purpose.  We shouldn’t allow jealousies and pride and strife within the body.

If we are to function as He intends us to, we need to be likeminded—have the same love and work together to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.  By doing so—much can be accomplished!

 

Confession:

I will be of one mind and have the same love within my local church and the body of Christ as a whole.  I will do my part to see the body function as our Lord intends.

 

 

Obedience is a tree of life!
