Continue to rejoice in the Lord
Philippians 3:1

  1. Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Rejoice in the Lord.  No matter what else is going on we are to always rejoice in Him.  We can always rejoice in Him.  The Amplified Bible says to "continue to rejoice that you are in Him."  If we are to continue to rejoice in Him that means we will not be swayed when circumstances come along that would try to get us not to rejoice in Him.  He’s encouraging them to continue on in the Lord.  Continue to rejoice in Him.

The word rejoice in the Greek according to Strong’s Concordance means to be cheerful, calmly happy or well off.  Or as a salutation, "be well."  Paul may be using it here in any of those contexts as he encourages to continue in the Lord.

He also says for him to write the same things to them over and over is not grievous to him and it is safe for them.  For us to hear the Word of God over and over and over is good for us.  It’s safe.  Because it’s our life and what we live by.  We need to know and study and be well aware of what the Word of God says because we live by the Word of God.

Confession:

I will continue on in the Lord and continue to rejoice in Him.  I will rejoice that I am in Him.  I will continue in the Word knowing it is safe for me to hear and study the Word of God over and over.

Obedience is a tree of life!
