November 20 1 Peter 4:9
We’re to be hospitable to each other and we’re to do it without complaining. It’s important for us to be people lovers, especially those in the body of Christ. At times we can get wrapped up in the busyness of our lives, even if we work within the church or in service for the Lord. We can get focused on all that needs to get done and forget that the reason we do all that we do is for people. It’s for the Lord but it’s because the Lord loves people. If we are hospitable without complaining then it means we are actively loving people from our hearts. Jesus said that He came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). He came to seek out and pursue the lost. He didn’t wait for them to come to Him. In the same way we are to pursue avenues through which we can be a blessing to others.
Confession: I will be hospitable towards people without complaining. I will seek to be a blessing to others and remember the love God has towards people.
Obedience is a tree of life!
