Good Stewards of the Gift
1 Peter 4:10

In verse 9 he said we should be hospitable towards each other without complaining.  Here he says as each one of us has received a gift, to use that gift to minister to one another as good stewards of the grace of God.

God has given each one of us gifts.  All of us are not used the same way.  His desire is not for us to try and be like each other or to try and minister to people the way someone else does.  But He wants us to use the gifts He’s given to us individually.

We need to seek Him and study His Word to find out what gifts He’s given to us and how He wants to use us.  Then we will be able to serve each other the way He desires.  And as we do, not only will others be blessed but we will be blessed as well because we are the most happy and most fulfilled when we are functioning in the body (and in our life), the way God designed us to.

Confession:

The Lord has given me gifts.  I receive the gifts He’s given to me.  I will use those gifts to minister to others the ways He intends for me to.  I will be a good steward of the grace of God and use my gifts the way He intends.
