Speak and Serve for His Glory
1 Peter 4:11

  1. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.  Amen.

In regards to the gifts He gives to us, some of us may speak and some of us may serve (Although we each can do some of both).  But when God uses us to speak, then we should speak what God says to speak.  When we serve, then we should do it in His strength.  The end result is that God is glorified through Jesus Christ.  Whatever we do, we do it for the glory of God.

We shouldn’t look at what we say or what we do as unimportant.  When we speak what God wants said that is powerful and we’re putting the Word of God out there for people to grab hold of and receive and put faith in.  As a result they will have victory in their lives.

When we serve with the ability and strength that God gives then we are doing what He wants done and touching people with the Love of God.  In all that we say and do, let God be glorified through Jesus Christ!

Confession:

When I speak, I will speak the utterances of God.  When I serve I will do it in His strength so that God may be glorified in all I say and do through Jesus Christ.

Obedience is a tree of life!
