Other translations for ‘grudge’ say ‘complain.’ He says not to complain ‘against one another.’ He just got done saying to be patient unto the coming of the Lord, then he says not to complain against each other. When we keep our minds on Jesus and what He has done, is doing and will do, then it’s easier to let the little complaints and aggravations that come up during our daily lives fall away. When we keep our minds on Him everything else takes a proper place in our lives. As we focus on Him, He becomes magnified and everything else becomes less important. He says not to complain against others so we will not be judged. And that the judge is already standing at the door. The judgment is already in place. We don't want to put ourselves in a position of bringing judgment upon us, but we want to remain patient and strong in our hearts.
Confession: I will not complain against others which will bring judgment upon myself. Rather I will be patient, strong and merciful.
Obedience is a tree of life!
