Let Us Hold Fast
Hebrews 10:23

We can hold fast the profession (or confession) of our faith without wavering because of the fact that God, the One who promised, is faithful.  We can trust that what God has promised He is faithful to bring to pass as long as we hold fast to our profession of faith.

It takes holding fast to our profession of faith in order for the promises of God to become a reality in our lives.  Without wavering, without doubting, without looking back, without regrets, we need to hold fast to the profession of our faith.

It’s not just our faith we’re holding fast to, but it’s the ‘profession’ of our faith.  Faith speaks.  And what is our faith to be in?  What He has promised!

We’re told to profess our faith.  To speak what we believe.  And to do it without wavering.  We can because God is faithful and He’s the One who made the promise.

We can declare the promises of God because God is the One who promised them and He is faithful to bring them to pass in our lives.  God is the One who keeps and upholds His Word!

Confession:

I will hold fast the profession of my faith without wavering, knowing that God, who has promised, is faithful.
