Exhort One Another Daily
Hebrews 3:13-15

13. But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

15. While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

We just read to take heed we don’t have an evil heart of unbelief, which causes us to depart from the Living God.  Now he says to exhort one another daily so we are not hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

We must hold to our faith.  We must not allow our hearts to be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.  We need to stick to what God has spoken and follow Him.  And we need to encourage each other to continue to follow the Lord.

Caleb and Joshua tried to encourage the others to enter into the Promised Land.  They tried to tell them they could do it because God said they could, but the others did not receive what Caleb and Joshua had to say (Numbers 13:30).  We need to receive encouragement from our brothers and sisters.  We need to allow our faith to be strengthened and not yield to doubt and unbelief, which hardens our heart.

We are made partakers if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.  Remain steadfast unto the end.  Don’t allow anything to lead you away from the promises of God.  Whether it’s unbelief, sin or other people’s opinions.

Confession:

I will exhort others to continue in their faith and I will receive exhortation from others as well.  I will hold fast the beginning of my confidence steadfast to the end.  I’ll not allow my heart to become hardened by sin, unbelief or a lack of encouragement from others.
