Let Us Draw Near
Hebrews 10:22

We can draw near to God in full assurance of faith because our hearts are sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  The verses preceding this verse talks of how we have this boldness to enter into the holiest, or the place where God is, because of the blood of Jesus.

Because of what Jesus did for us, by taking the punishment for our sin, we as we believe in Him are cleansed from sin and because of that are able to enter confidently into the presence of God.

We would not be able to enter boldly into God’s presence if it were not for Jesus Christ.  We cannot enter into His presence without our sin being washed away.  But because of what Jesus did for us, our consciences are washed clean and our bodies are cleansed!  What Jesus Christ has done for us on the inside affects what we do with our bodies on the outside.  We are free from sin!  And because of our faith in Jesus Christ cleansing us we can boldly enter into the presence of God!

Confession:

Because I believe in Jesus Christ and what He did for me, my conscience is cleansed from evil.  Through faith in Him, my body is free from sin and I can draw near to God in full assurance of faith!
