We are not without Him!

When we hunger for God to the point of focusing on the areas we are lacking in and when we are focusing mentally on the lack of Him in our lives it will lead to severe frustration.

There is a difference between acknowledging our need or desire for Him and thinking we have a lack of Him in our lives.  We are not lacking Him.  He is not absent from us.

As we focus on His presence that is with us, in us and amongst us we will begin to see the effects of His presence amongst us.  We don’t need to try and ‘get Him’ into our lives or into our meetings.  If we have invited Him into our lives He has come and hasn’t left.  Where two or three are gathered in His name He is in the midst.

He is in our midst!

He is in us!  He is among us!  We can rejoice in that!  We can focus on that.  We should be focusing our efforts on learning to live with His presence within us, not in trying to get Him here.

A consistent mindset of need & sacrifice will lead us into a religion that is based on works instead of on the grace of God.  But as we receive from Him all that He has given to us, including Himself & His presence among us then we are filled with rivers of living water that will not only bless us but bless those around us.

There is no lack in the presence of God!
