October 20, 2003 "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 God has prepared certain things for us. We can’t see them or understand them through our natural eyes or ears. And we can’t understand them with our own heart even, unless it’s by the Spirit of God. In fact it says here that God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. That means He has already revealed them to us. In our heart or our spirit, our inner man, we communicate with God and we can come to understand the things He has prepared for us by listening to our spirit. It’s good to know that God has prepared things for us and it’s also true that God has prepared and is preparing us for those things. When God made man, He made the earth first. He prepared a place for Adam and Eve and all of mankind to live in first before He made them. He had their ‘place’ all set up for them. But then He also prepared them for the place. He created the physical body so that it would be able to survive and thrive in the earth. God wouldn’t have created man in such a way that he was unable to inhabit the place God created for him. As obvious as that is, many times we don’t feel we are able to ‘inhabit’ the place God has called us to. God has a plan, a destination, for all of us. And not only has He prepared our destiny but He’s also prepared us to live in our destiny. Whatever it is that God has called you to, He has also equipped you to do it! You don’t have to feel inadequate or worry about whether or not you are able to carry out the will of God for your life. He has equipped you. And He does it by His Spirit through your spirit. Learn to listen to your heart and you will discover God’s plan for you. You will discover the place He has destined for you to inhabit and you will also find that this is the place He has been preparing you for all along!
God Bless you and have a great day! |
