A question we should ask ourselves is this: Are you following Jesus or are you following the multitudes who are following Jesus? Its easy to get caught up in doing what everyone else is doing, or listening to others for advice and direction rather then seeking to follow Jesus, the Word of God. Just because, everyone else believes this, is not a valid reason for you to believe it. If we are following the multitudes rather then Jesus, we are assuming that they know where Jesus is going and are following Him. But what if everyone else is doing the same thing? Keep your eyes on Jesus yourself. If all of the parts of the body of Christ today, throughout the world, would take their instructions and guidance from the Head, then we would function as the body of Christ the way were supposed to. Your physical body would not function properly at all if all of the individual parts just tried to co-operate with each other rather then co-operate with the head, where the instructions come from. Jesus didnt come to the earth to try and get along with mankind. He came here to please the Father. And because He did, His purpose was accomplished. Lets focus our attention on our Lord and Master. Lets seek to please the Father through Jesus Christ. As we all do that, our purpose-individually and corporately- will be accomplished as well. God Bless you and have a great day! |
